Course description:
This is designed to be a super rapid and creative course for math lovers like you. We will accompany great mathematicians in history to rediscover fundamental theorems about the topological and geometric structure of spacetime. The most important theorems include:
Fundamental theorem of Calculus;
Gauss Theorem;
Gauss-Bonnet Theorem.
Towards the end of the course, you may discover your own theorems!
To better prepare for the course, you may read and try some practice problems on differentiation and integration in one variable and several variables. These are commonly called Calculus 1 and Calculus 3 in University, which is the baby level entrance for major in mathematics. Nowadays, there are abundant learning resources for Calculus in the web. You may even ask a chatbot in the web to generate a practice exercise sheet (with solutions!). We will take off from there and explore the beauty and mysteries of (the backstage of) our universe.
